My experiential year is being more like a financial year, a religious year, or an agricultural year at the moment. It's not synching with the Gregorian calendar. So...no 2003 summation from me. Nonetheless, I wish everyone a happy and healthy 2004!

Here's a link to some archived lectures in streaming format from Princeton. There are three Roger Penrose lectures ("Fashion, Faith and Fantasy in the New Physics of the Universe") that look intriguing, though I got to watch only the very beginning of the first one before I was tempted away by dry-ice experiments in my kitchen.

Or maybe you're still on the school calendar -- nothing starts until Spetember *g*.

LOL re "steaming"! And...oh, crap! re IRC...I popped into chat for ten minutes to wish everyone happy new year, and totally forgot to look for you. Then again, I forgot it was Wednesday. I thought I was being good and going to my regular Thursday chat. Spongiform encephalitis scriptorum.

I think I'll always be partly on the school calendar, mentally.

Happy New Year, T!

I've decided to have a good year this year and the year can just piss off if it doesn't like it. :-)

Hope you have a good year too. Even if it's only the numeric New Year and not the experiential one (or the financial one or the school one or the...).

D'oh! Well the important thing is you had a good new year! Everyone pooped out early this year. I was bummed about that. But at least I got some writing done and watched good anime!

It sounds like a lovely New Year's Eve. You know, whatever you do on New Year's is what you'll be doing the whole rest of the year, or so the superstition says. Writing and watching good anime...I wouldn't mind doing that all year... :)
