As I Watch the Debate...

I think of one of Dan Savage's answers to the QSAT:

If you could take over anyone's body for an hour, a la "Being John Malkovich," who would you pick?

George Bush. In that hour, I would attempt to enact a single-payer national health care program, do away with "don't ask, don't tell" and sign as many executive orders as I could protecting the environment, reproductive rights and gay rights. And I'd try to get some head from a White House intern in the Oval Office before the hour was up. Then I'd resign.
