Xmas 1970
Xmas 1970
My grandmother, my mom, and me, Christmas 1970, grabbed from a video capture of old home movies transferred to VHS.

Happy holidays, everyone.

Thanks. :)

I tried to get the video file uploaded to the Vox account I never use, but so far it's "processing" and still unavailable. I'm glad I'd grabbed a still.

What a nice photo! Heck, I was a senior in high school on Dec, 1970.

We broke out some photos for our recent Christmas Eve get-together. There was one of me shooting pool with a full head of sun-bleached blonde hair and beard and under 200 pounds.

Whatever happened to that guy? :)

Much fun was had this Christmas. Niece returning from LA and two-year-old triplets on the loose were particular highlights.

Hope you had a super holiday break. Best regards for the New Year, GallGal.

Kids are a highlight of Christmas, aren't they? We had a one-year-old, a seventeen-month-year-old, and a four-year-old to enjoy at the big family gathering. And breaking out old photos is always entertaining. Glad you had a good time!

Knock, knock, poke, poke, where oh where has Terry been?!

(OTOH, I didn't get to Lunacon, presumably either, something about a snowstorm that before the precipation went liquid, dumped ten inches of snow on the ground where I live, then down came the liquid dihydrogen monoxide, and then came the freezeover into ice. I decided to wuss out and stay home. It turns out that some people spent seven hours in transit in the wretchedly nasty icy weather on the nasty travel roads. I don't regret having avoided that sort of driving experience!)

I experienced a little bit of the nasty driving owing to the music gigs that kept me from Lunacon this year, but less than I would have if I'd been able to go to the con. What I hate more than driving on nasty roads is having to dig my car out of the snow--which doesn't make a lot of rational sense, since the driving is dangerous and the digging is just annoying, but there it is. :)

Where I've been? Running around playing music, and keeping my head down to get some serious writing done. But it's spring, and the ground's thawing, so I'll be popping up and peering around a bit more often. Thanks for the poke! :)
