(no subject)

Today I refinanced my mortgage. Came home to find the grotesque ugly urns and ragged flagstone at curbside in front of my house replaced by a grassy sward and a lovely baby tree. (I'd arranged for this to happen a while ago, when I had to accept that I wasn't going to do the job myself, but then the landscaper got delayed.) I'm not sure how many trees were killed to produce all the paper I signed at the closing, but one hopes there is symmetry.
