Metajournaling
Feb. 26th, 2005 11:36 amFinally downloaded the LJ archive tool that
akaspeedo pointed me toward. It's great, and comes with some fun tools, one of which is Regressive Imagery Analysis.
It will also do a word count analysis.
Excluding "post" (64), "link" (55), and "someone" (50), here are the words that appear most frequently:
music 66
maybe 62
session 58, sessions 23
playing 53
actually 53
cool 53
thanks 49
stuff 45
irish 44
york 43 (presumably "new" was excluded as a common word)
bush 42
Some words I've used only once: plague, scab, fiddlers, plumbers, assassin, spoilerphobic, bugger, Organians.
The word "fuck" appears only 11 times. Clearly I don't journal the way I speak in person. *g*
The word "hell" appears 29 times, only slightly less frequently than the words "tune" (30) and "tunes" (31).
I resolve to stop saying "actually" and "cool," and to find more reasons to mention Organians.

Date: 2005-02-26 06:08 pm (UTC)I don't think I've ever used 'fuck' on my weblog, which is probably an oversight I need to remedy soon :-)
Glad to see you're around again!

Date: 2005-02-27 04:53 am (UTC)Going cold-turkey on two mainstay words would be a bit much, though, I agree.
Maybe I'll just work on "actually" while you actually cut down on "just."
